When the crowds are gone

I am very lucky to be living on the south coast with miles and miles of beautiful beach right on my doorstep but I have to admit that I do prefer it at this time of year when the crowds are gone. Yesterday morning I popped down to the beach and managed to get a few photos ready for a layout I plan to do.I was down there just after 9am after the school run so not the best light but it is really only at this time of day that the beach is empty like this. Just a couple of months ago, this same stretch of beach would be packed with holiday makers!
I just had time for a 15 minute stroll and a steaming hot cup of coffee in the cafe, set me up for the day!
